Employ these three tips to get the best out of the collaboration, without the potential pitfalls.

Speak slower. Your job as a communicator is to make it easy for your audience to listen to you.
Pause more. Your audience needs to absorb what you’re saying. Use shorter sentences.
Eliminate slang. (I’m talking to YOU, Native Speakers!)
